Tíamat

Creatures - Dragons

Tiamat is a character in the animated series Dungeons & Dragons, known in Brazil as Cave of the Dragon, produced in the 80's by Marvel Productions and TSR, Inc., based on the RPG game of the same name.

It is a supreme and powerful 5-headed dragon. Its name is derived from Tiamat, a goddess in ancient Mesopotamian mythology. She is the queen and mother of evil dragons and a standard pantheon of D & D mythology. Its symbol is a five-headed dragon. Tiamat was also named as one of the greatest villains in the "D & D" story in Dragon # 359, the final issue of the magazine. David M. Ewalt of Forbes calls Tiamat the most fearsome dragon in D & D history.

His power overcomes the power of the Avenger villain, terrifying him, as do the other boys. From the mouth of each of the heads can launch distinct puffs for each of them (can launch with all at the same time), as follows:

The white head throws freezing rays;
The green head casts a cloud of poisonous gas;
- The red head (the central, and only able to speak) launches flames of fire;
- The blue head throws energy in the form of rays;
His black head is acid.

Tiamat can still do spells like own teleport or others. Its habitat is the Dragon Cemetery.

Their voices were dubbed by Frank Welker in the original version and José Santa Cruz in the version for Brazil.
