Apollo is a god of Greco-Roman mythology, considered one of the greatest gods of Olympus.
He is revered as the sun god, prophecy, poetry, arts, music, healing, justice, law, order, target shooting and plague.
Apollo is one of the most beloved Olympian gods, being seen with a just god, who defended tolerance. It is also known as the god of the flocks and of the crops.
It has been depicted numerous times from antiquity to the present, usually as a young man, naked and beardless, at the height of his vigor, sometimes with a cloak, a bow and a quiver of arrows, or a lyre, and with some of its symbolic animals, like the snake, the crow or the tap.
This god also had his black part, was considered an archer of great ability. With one year of age, the snake Piton, who was also an enemy of his mother, killed her with arrows.
From this moment he was considered a great archer.
His bow fired lethal darts that killed men with illnesses or sudden deaths.
The power of Apollo was exercised everywhere in nature and man.
